VELUX Top-Hung Roof Window
With a hinge at the top can be opened steplessly up to 45° in relation to the roof slope. The VELUX top-hung roof window is operated using a handle located at the bottom of the sash and can be locked in a ventilation position. You can also rotate the window 180° around its axis (cleaning position), so that the outside of the pane is on the inside. This makes it very easy to clean the outer pane. However, the pivot function of these roof windows is only intended to place the window in the cleaning position.
The handle at the top of the sash also functions as a ventilation flap. It can be opened while the VELUX roof window remains closed, allowing fresh air to circulate in all weather conditions..
